Text Messaging Terms

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These terms cover the text messages (SMS) sent by tylamb.com, a personal website run by Ty Lamb. They go with the site's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Program

Program name: TyLamb.com Signed Invoice links.

Signed Invoice is a demo on this site: a proof-of-delivery receipt that the customer signs on their phone. When a signed-in user delivers a shipment (for the fictional company Lame Sheep Inc.), they can text the customer a link to review and sign that receipt. That is the only text this site sends. There are no marketing, promotional, or recurring messages.

How you opt in

You only get a text if you gave your mobile number to the person sending the receipt and agreed to receive the signing link by text. Before the site will send it, the sender must enter your number and tick this box on the receipt:

☑ The customer gave me this mobile number and agreed to get one text from TyLamb.com with the signing link. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

The site records that confirmation, who made it, and when, with the receipt's audit trail. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.

What you'll receive

Message frequency: one message per receipt sent to you, usually one message in total. A sender can resend a link if the first one expires.

A typical message:

TyLamb.com demo: delivery receipt INV-1042 for $1,284.50 from Lame Sheep Inc. (a fictional company) is ready to sign: https://tylamb.com/projects/signed-invoice/s/… Link expires Oct 14, 3:00 PM. Reply STOP to opt out.

Opting out and help

• Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message to stop all texts from this number. You'll get one confirmation and nothing after that.
• Reply START to opt back in.
• Reply HELP for help, or email ty@tylamb.com.

Costs and carriers

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your number

Your mobile number is used only to send the signing link you agreed to. Texts are sent through Twilio. Mobile numbers and text-message consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for how long receipts are kept and how to ask for your data to be deleted.
